This song is real. Someone wrote it. It’s the most depressing thing, maybe ever. I mean, I think we can all agree that country music has some strange hits. I’ll admit to being a fan of some less than perfect country songs. Take for instance “Did I Shave My Legs For This” by one Ms. Deana Carter. Who didn’t blast that as a 7th grader? Ok, maybe you didn’t, but I grew up in Texas. But still. If I die young? Really? Someone has no hope for their life. Come on guys. Let’s encourage the little kiddies to aspire to something other than dying young.
Side note: The men in this band are European male models paid to appear as band members. I’m convinced.
